Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The phased connection of social facilities and apartment buildings in Uzbekistan’s capital to the central heating system will begin on 9 November as part of the 2026–2027 heating season.
The decision was issued by the Tashkent city khokim. Schools, kindergartens, hospitals and other social institutions, as well as apartment buildings, will be connected first.
Buildings will be connected to the heating system in stages.
How heating charges will be calculated
Heating charges will be calculated from the date on which each apartment building is actually connected to the heating system. This date must be recorded in a bilateral act signed by the building management company.
Residents experiencing uneven heat distribution in their apartments are advised to contact the management company responsible for their building. It is responsible for the technical condition of the building’s internal heating systems and ensuring an even heat supply.
Where to report emergencies
In the event of an emergency involving heating networks, residents can contact Veolia Energy Tashkent through the following channels:
Call centre: 1347 or (71) 200-00-56.
Telegram bot: @vet_pokazaniya_bot, which accepts reports around the clock.
The phased launch of heating in residential buildings and social facilities across Tashkent will therefore begin on 9 November.
Heating charges will be calculated based on the actual connection date of each building.
