Ucell supports athletes with special needs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Mobile operator Ucell supported the Champions of Uzbekistan on swimming among 100 athletes with special needs, which was held in Samarkand on 24-25 July 2015.

Ucell along with providing mobile communication services supports social and cultural projects. The company has been cooperating with Uzbekistan Paralympic Association for the second year. The company helped to purchase sport wheelchairs and training equipment for athletes within the preparation of Paralympic Games in 2016.

Rodia Verbenyuk, corporate communication director of Ucell, commented that Ucell is proud with partnership with Uzbekistan Paralympic Association. She noted: “We are happy for success of our Paralympic athletes.”

Uzbekistan Paralympic Association represents Uzbekistan in international competition. It is member of the International Paralympic Committee, Asian Paralympic Committee and other international organizations.
