Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Republican Center for Seismic Predictive Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that on 2 May 2023, at 09:46 Tashkent time, an earthquake occurred in Kyrgyzstan. 

Earthquake coordinates: 41.72 degrees north latitude; 71.6 degrees east longitude. Magnitude M=4.3. Depth 10 km. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 205 km in the northeast direction.

The strength of tremors in the territory of Uzbekistan:

Yangikurgan district: 2-3 points, 51 km.

Kasansay district: 2 points, 60 km.
