Total volume of deposits attracted by banks make up 71.9 trillion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Total volume of deposits attracted by banks as of 1 April 2019 made up 71.9 trillion soums, which is 17.3% more than compared to the same period of 2018.

According to the Central Bank, among them the funds of the population on deposits increased by 26.9% and reached 15.9 trillion soums.

In the structure of deposits, the share of funds in national currency increased from 52% to 63%, which can be considered as an indicator of a decline in the role of foreign currency in the formation of assets (resources) attracted by banks.
