Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan will host the CAFA U-17 Women’s Championship 2026 from 15 to 19 September, the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) said.

The tournament will feature the U-17 women’s national teams of Uzbekistan, Iran, the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan.

The competition will provide a platform for developing young female footballers and preparing them for regional and international tournaments. It will also help identify promising players among young footballers from Central Asia.

Mahliyo Sarikova will lead Uzbekistan’s U-17 women’s national team at the tournament.
