Tashkent Prepares to Host "Spain–S5+Azerbaijan" International Forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan met with officials from the Embassy of Spain in Uzbekistan to discuss preparations for the "Spain–S5+Azerbaijan" international forum, which is scheduled to take place in Tashkent later this year.

The parties reviewed organizational arrangements for the event as well as its core agenda. The forum is expected to serve as a business platform for entrepreneurs, investors, and agricultural industry representatives seeking to establish new partnerships, advance investment projects, and adopt modern agrotechnologies.

Special attention during the meeting was given to the forum's role in expanding the application of scientific research and innovations in agriculture. Specifically, the participants discussed opportunities to examine Spain's experience in water-saving technologies, intensive horticulture, the food industry, and agricultural education.

Representatives from Uzbekistan and Spain expressed confidence that holding the forum will contribute to strengthening bilateral partnerships in the agricultural sector, facilitating joint projects, and deepening cooperation between the business communities of both countries.
