Tashkent Discusses Modernising Water Infrastructure

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Mayor of Tashkent Obid Muminov met with the heads of Taka WS (UAE), SUEZ (France) and Itochu (Japan) as part of the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum.

During the talks, the parties discussed modernising the capital's municipal infrastructure, expanding the capacity of sewage systems, and implementing new infrastructure projects in light of population growth, urbanisation and urban development.

Particular attention was given to the introduction of modern technologies, the application of energy-efficient solutions, and the use of international experience in implementing long-term infrastructure projects.

The Tashkent City Administration confirmed its readiness for practical cooperation with international partners aimed at accelerating strategically important projects and further developing the capital's urban infrastructure.
