Tashkent Appoints New Leaders Across Key City Departments
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A series of leadership appointments has been made across several organizations and government departments in Tashkent, the news agency UzDaily.uz reported.
Umidjon Asatullaev has been appointed head of the Tashkent city branch of the Management Efficiency Agency under the President of Uzbekistan. A mechanical engineering graduate of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Asatullaev previously served as deputy head of the branch.
Akhror Ashrafkhanov has taken charge of the Tashkent city regional branch of Regional Electric Grids JSC. He graduated from Beruni Tashkent State Technical University, Tashkent State University of Economics, and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Uzbekistan, specializing in electric power engineering and accounting. Ashrafkhanov has held various positions at Tashkent City Electric Networks JSC and its subsidiaries since 2004.
Bekzod Bakhromov has been named head of the Tashkent City Culture Department. He graduated from the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan and the Batyr Zakirov National Institute of Variety Art. Bakhromov is a recipient of the Nihol State Award and has held senior roles within the city culture department since 2021.
Shukurullo Israilov has been appointed deputy head of the Tashkent City Culture Department. A graduate of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies and Tashkent State University of Economics, Israilov previously worked at the Uzbekconcert state institution. An international relations specialist, he has been awarded the Dustlik Order and the Madaniyat va San'at badge.
