State Statistics Committee: export of cars in monetary terms in the reporting period increased by 30.4%.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan exported passenger cars worth US$208.7 million in 2020, the State Statistics Committee said in a report.

According to the ministry, the export of cars in monetary terms in the reporting period increased by 30.4%.

At the same time, in January-December 2020, Uzbekistan imported cars worth US$475.1 million, which is 7.9% less compared to 2019.

It should be noted that enterprises of Uzbekistan produced more than 280 thousand cars in 2020, which is 3.3% more compared to 2019.
