Regional medical institutions receive 110 ambulances

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The regions of Uzbekistan will receive 110 latest-generation Volkswagen Caddy ambulances.

In Jizzakh region, with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Health Otabek Fozilkarimov, a car handover ceremony was held.

The vehicles were given half the assistance as part of the ambulance fleet renewal program.

Cars are distributed by region as follows:

- Karakalpakstan - 10;

- Andijan region - 10;

- Bukhara region - 10;

- Jizzakh region - 9;

- Kashkadarya region - 10;

- Navoi region - 8;

- Namangan region - 10;

- Surkhandarya region - 9;

- Syrdarya region - 8;

- Tashkent region - 8;

- Ferghana region - 10

- Khorezm region - 8.

There are currently 2,938 vehicles in the ambulance service, of which 648 are in need of renovation.
