Uzbekistan to host SILK UZBEKISTAN FASHION WEEK

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Starting in 2024, Uzbekistan will hold the International Fashion Week SILK UZBEKISTAN FASHION WEEK.

This is envisaged by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan “On measures to significantly increase the flow of foreign tourists to the republic and further enhance domestic tourism.”

SILK UZBEKISTAN FASHION WEEK will be held once every two years in the third week of May.

The world’s leading fashion houses will be invited to participate in the week and will take part in a competition for the production of modern clothing from silk fabrics of Uzbekistan.

The prize fund of SILK UZBEKISTAN FASHION WEEK will be US$2 million. The prize fund of fashion week is financed from the Republican budget.
