Terrorist group detained in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 November, law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan detained a group of people who fell under the influence of terrorist groups in Syria.

The group was detained on 9 November in Khavas district of Syrdarya region.

The leader of the group and several of his associates were detained. They planned to leave for Syria and join the Syrian militants. During the searches, extremist materials and means of communication were found.

Investigative measures are being carried out.
