Uzbekistan, Indonesian textile companies to establish trade-investment cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A videoconference has been organized between representatives of Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association and Indonesia’s PT. Pan Brothers Tbk, Dunyo news agency reported.

Participants were informed about the economic potential of Uzbekistan, in particular, trade-investment potential of the textile industry.

The parties also discussed issues of establishing bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan companies and PT. Pan Brothers Tbk in trade, investment and technology transfer.

Indonesian company was offered to organize joint production, create a textile cluster and conclude a franchise agreement with Uzbekistan manufacturers for production of goods of well-known brands with subsequent export of finished products to the countries of the region.

Following the event, the sides agreed to create a working group for implementation of joint projects on trade-investment cooperation in the textile industry.
