Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan discussed prospects for expanding cooperation with China and introducing advanced agricultural technologies.
Jamoliddin Babakhanov, head of the department responsible for implementing the agricultural development strategy and introducing innovations, delivered a presentation.
The event was held as part of the latest “Professional Development Hour” for employees of the ministry’s central office.
The presentation covered the results of an official visit to China, the experience studied during the trip and agreements reached during the visit.
Particular attention was given to Chinese practices in livestock breeding and seed production, modern production technologies, and mechanisms for applying scientific developments in practical activities.
Participants also discussed opportunities to apply this experience in Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector.
The organisers said it was important not to limit efforts to studying foreign practices, but to adapt them to local conditions, establish practical cooperation with relevant organisations and implement specific projects.
