Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In 9 months of 2020, Uzbekistan exported 455 items of textile products to the amount of US$1.3 billion. Compared to the same period of last year, the export of textiles will increase by US$171.6 million, or 14.6%, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The main export of textile products from Uzbekistan falls on such countries as:

- Russian Federation – US$486.5 million

- People's Republic of China - US$277.5 million

- Kyrgyz Republic - US$196.5 million

- Turkey - US$153.4 million

- Poland - US$32.6 million

- Kazakhstan - US$30.6 million.

At the same time, in 9 months of this year, imports of textiles decreased by US$$148.3 million, or 8.2% compared to the same period of last year.

According to State Committee on Statistics, in 9 months of 2020, textile enterprises produced goods for 23.8 trillion soums, which is 11.8% more than in the same period of last year.
