Rio-2016: Bektemir Melikuziev progresses to semifinals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Bektemir Melikuziev advanced to semifinals of the boxing tournament of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

In the quarterfinals of 75 kg weight division, Melikuziev defeated Krishan Vikas from India with the score 3-0 to advance to next stage.

Melikuziev ensured that he wins at least bronze medal of Olympic Games after reaching the semifinals. He will face Misael Rodriguez from Mexico in last four.
