Pakhtakor-1997 finishes third at Turkmenistan President Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Team of Academy of Pakhtakor Tashkent, consisting of players born in 1997, claimed the third place at the Turkmenistan President Cup.

Uzbekistan Football Federation said that Jasur Abduraimov’s side clinched a 6-0 victory over Kyrgyzstan youth team.

Pakhtakor club defeated Belarus with the score 2-1 and Tajikistan with the score 7-0 and lost to Russia with the score 2-0 to advance to semifinals.

In the semifinals, Uzbek club suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hand of hosts Turkmenistan.
