Nigina Abduraimova advances to second round of Tashkent Open

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Nigina Abduraimova of Uzbekistan reached the second round of tennis tournament Tashkent Open.

She recorded her biggest win of her career ousting fourth seeded Lara Arruabarrena of Spain with the score 7-5 and 6-4.

Alexandra Panova of Russia defeated Kristina Kucova of Slovakia in straight sets 6-1 and 7-6 (4).

Karin Knapp (Italy) beat Calga Buyukakcay of Turkey with the score 6-2 and 7-6 (3).

Romania’s Irina-Camelia Begu defeated Kateryna Kozlova of Ukraine with the score 6-3 and 6-1, while Lesia Tsurenko (Ukraine) beat Aleksandra Krunic (Serbia) with the score 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.

Misaki Doi of Japan outclassed Katerina Siniakova of Czech Republic with the score 6-4 and 6-3, and Olga Govortsova (Belarus) outplayed Margarita Gasparyan (Russia) with the score 6-3, 6-4.
