Mirziyoyev Welcomes Czech PM Babiš at Kuksaroy Ceremony

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 April, an official welcoming ceremony for Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš was held at the Kuksaroy residence during his visit to Uzbekistan.

A guard of honor was lined up in the courtyard of the residence. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev personally welcomed the high-ranking guest and invited him to the podium for the official proceedings.

A military band performed the national anthems of both countries. Following the ceremony, the leaders reviewed the honor guard and greeted members of the official delegations.

The event concluded with a joint photo session, after which the two sides proceeded to high-level talks.

The Czech delegation is led by Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, who is visiting Uzbekistan to discuss bilateral cooperation and economic ties.

The ceremony took place at the Kuksaroy Residence, the official venue for high-level state receptions and negotiations in Uzbekistan.
