Mirziyoyev Honors Military and Law Enforcement Personnel
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree conferring state awards on a group of military service members and law enforcement personnel on 22 August 2026. The awards were granted in connection with the 35th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the presidential press service reported.
According to the decree, the honors were awarded for contributions to enhancing the combat capabilities of the Armed Forces, protecting national interests, ensuring the rule of law and public order, as well as for courage demonstrated in the line of duty, long-term service in training qualified personnel, and active participation in public life.
The Order of Mehnat Shukhrati was awarded to Kholmurad Kurbanov, professor at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations; Abdumamanob Rakhimov, judge of the Constitutional Court of Uzbekistan; and Erkin Churyakov, laboratory head for forensic ballistics and traceology expertise at the Kh. Sulaymanova Republican Center for Forensic Expertise.
The Order of Shon-Sharaf I Class was awarded to Tokhir Aripov, head of the Internal Affairs Department of Samarkand region, and Victor Makhmudov, secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan. The II Class was awarded to Azizbek Ikramov, Minister of Emergency Situations, and Azizbek Kamilov, department head at the Ministry of Defense.
The Order of Dustlik was awarded to Gaygisiz Avezdurdiyev, senior engineer at a Ministry of Defense military unit; Adik Li, professor of administrative and financial law at Tashkent State Law University; Tolat Murodov, chairman of the "Veteran" association of veteran soldiers and disabled individuals; Rano Murtazayeva, head of the investigative unit of the Khojeyli district internal affairs department in Karakalpakstan; and Tatyana Ryabova, senior consultant at the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan.
The Order of Salomatlik II Class was awarded to Alimurod Shonazarov, department head at the Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense.
The Order of Mardlik was awarded to Otabek Karimov, specialist-instructor at a National Guard military unit; Shoim Karshiyev, senior prevention inspector at the Uchtepa district internal affairs department in Tashkent; Khurshid Ochilov, head of the Surkhandarya regional emergency management center; and Sunnatullo Khamirayev, commander of a Ministry of Defense military unit.
The Medal of Courage was awarded to 14 individuals, including four posthumous honors. Recipients include Gulomjon Abdurayimov, senior platoon technician at a Ministry of Defense military unit; Mirmansur Mirkhamidov, deputy head of the Operational-Search Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; Nabijon Rakhimberganov, group commander at a Ministry of Defense military unit; Musurmon Rakhmatov, head of a technical control post at a National Guard military unit; Abror Sultanov, group commander at a Ministry of Defense military unit; Jasurbek Tulayev, cycle head at a Ministry of Defense military unit; Nodirjon Kholdorov, battery sergeant-instructor at a Ministry of Defense military unit; and Ilkhamjan Shukurov, assistant squad commander at a National Guard military unit. Posthumous awards were conferred on Azizbek Annakulov, senior road patrol inspector in Kashkadarya region; Khayitbek Karimjonov, senior road patrol inspector in Ferghana region; Akhror Pardayev, group specialist at a Ministry of Defense military unit; Boburmirzo Pardayev, group commander in a special rescue battalion of the Ministry of Emergency Situations; Iskandarbek Rustamov, senior road patrol inspector in Andijan region; and Javokhir Uralov, group specialist at a National Guard military unit.
The Medal "For Faithful Services" was awarded to 33 people across various security and legal institutions, including Kambarali Abdulkhayev, an attorney from Kokand; Bakhtiyar Aberkulov, prosecutor of the Karauzyak district in Karakalpakstan; Shukhrat Kuchkarov, head of the human resources department at the Ministry of Justice; and Tatyana Fomenko, department head at the National Archives of Uzbekistan.
The Shukhrat Medal was awarded to a group of over 40 personnel from prosecution offices, courts, the Ministry of Defense, National Guard, Ministry of Emergency Situations, State Customs Committee, and internal affairs bodies. Awardees include Khusnidin Kamolov, judge of the Supreme Judicial Council; Kamal Tarikhov, chairman of the Court of the Republic of Karakalpakstan; Fayyoz Ashurov, senior military prosecutor at the Military Prosecutor's Office; and Olim Usarov, adviser to the Minister of Defense.
