Milling enterprises produce goods for 1.029bn soums in 1H

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In the first half of 2015, the enterprises of flour-and-cereals and feed mill industry of Uzbekistan produced goods for 1.029 trillion. soums, which is 15% more compared to the same period in 2014.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the share of production in total industrial output was 2.5%.

In the reporting period, the enterprise of the sector increased production of such products as flour of soft wheat and spelta (+ 9.2%), groats and flour of wheat and soft spelta (+ 10.4%), groats and meal of barley (1.9 times)

At the same time, the production of multi-component mixtures for the preparation of feed (+ 34.1%) and ready feeds for farm animals (+ 9.3%) also increased.
