Laziz Kudratov, UAE Minister Discuss Investment Development

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On the sidelines of the Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF-2026), the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held a working meeting with the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates, Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei.

The bilateral talks took place within the business program of the specialized forum Investopia: Tashkent Edition.

The official part of the event also included a joint viewing of the deployed exhibition exposition and a solemn signing ceremony for a package of bilateral agreements aimed at deepening the partnership.

During the interdepartmental consultations, the heads of the ministries reviewed in detail strategic directions for strengthening trade, economic, bilateral, and investment cooperation between the two states.

The parties highlighted the joint implementation of large-scale regional transport projects and the introduction of digital natural gas distribution networks as key agenda priorities.

In addition, the dialogue participants worked through the prospects of integrating Islamic banking instruments into the republic's financial market, issues regarding the modernization of logistics infrastructure, and investment initiatives for organizing the production of green diesel and other types of environmentally friendly fuel.
