Khusanov Ranked Among World’s Best U23 Players

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan national team defender and Manchester City player Abdukodir Khusanov has been included in the list of the best U23 football players in the world, compiled by the CIES Football Observatory.

The International Centre for Sports Studies evaluated players from 67 national leagues based on their performances over the past six months.

The ranking considered statistical performance, competition level, team results, and total playing time.

According to the study, within the English Premier League, Khusanov ranked 19th with an index score of 79.9.

The top U23 player in the Premier League was Florian Wirtz of Liverpool. Second place went to Rayan Cherki of Manchester City, while third place was taken by Lewis Hall of Newcastle United.
