Javrail Shapiev to compete for Bronze at Olympics

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – The number of Uzbek freestyle wrestlers vying for a bronze medal has increased by one more.

Javrail Shapiev, competing in the 86 kg weight category, secured a victory over Canadian Alex Moore in the repechage round.

Shapiev will now take to the mat in the evening session, where he will compete for the bronze medal against American Aron Brooks.
