Inflation in Uzbekistan makes up 4.2% in Jan-Sep

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Growth of consumer price index in Uzbekistan made up 4.2% in January-September 2010, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan noted that the prices to food products increased by 3% in nine months of 2010.

The prices for nonfood products grew by 1.9% in January-September against 5.8% in the same period of 2009.

In line with the committee data, the prices for paid services increased by 11.6% in nine months of 2010. The prices for paid services made up 16.1% in January-September.
