Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Management of the Agency for the Development of Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement held a meeting with representatives of the international consulting company Ernst & Young.

The negotiations, held on 18 June 2026 within the framework of the fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum, were dedicated to assessing the current status of ongoing joint programs and determining key vectors for further interaction.

The main subject of the discussion was a complex of measures aimed at the qualitative development of industrial cooperation in Uzbekistan. In particular, the sides discussed in detail the integration of a PMO project management system, which is intended to increase the efficiency of control over current initiatives.

The partners paid special attention to mechanisms for supporting and scaling production localization processes within the republic, as well as introducing a total cost of ownership (TCO) methodology to stimulate and protect the interests of domestic goods producers.

In addition, specialists from the agency and Ernst & Young reviewed options for adapting advanced global experience to the economic realities of Uzbekistan and outlined steps to improve existing cooperation tools.

Following the dialogue, the TIIF-2026 participants confirmed their intention to maintain a systematic partnership and proceed with the practical implementation of the agreed joint initiatives.
