IDB delegation arrives in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A delegation of Islamic Development Bank (IDB) led by director of Department of country programmed Mohamed Alsaati arrived in Uzbekistan on 10 May with a week-long visit.

The visit is aimed at developing trade-economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and the IDB, establishing mutual beneficial contacts and discussing perspectives of bilateral cooperation.

During the meetings, it is planned to consider mutual beneficial cooperation to strengthen ties between Uzbekistan and the organization.

Uzbekistan became the full-fledged member of the IDB in 2003. The IDB finances projects in healthcare, energy, education, road construction and other sectors.
