HFCL, Uzbekneftegaz to create joint venture on optic-fiber cable production

Himachal Futuristic Communications Ltd (HFCL) and Uzbekneftegaz national holding company will ceate a joint venture with the cost of US$5 million.
The joint venture will produce optic-fiber cable for gas pipelines, RIA Novosti reported.
The sides signed a memorandum of creation of joint venture. The constituent documents will be signed by the end of the 2011.
The enterprise will be located at Navoi free industrial and economic zone. The capacity of the enterprise will be 1,000 km cable a year.
