Head of Uzbekistan appoints business ombudsman

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 28 July 2017, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev appointed the Commissioner for the Protection of Rights and Legal Interests of Entrepreneurship under the President.

Dilmurod Kasimov was appointed to the post of the Commissioner under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for protection of rights and legal interests of business entities in accordance with the presidential decree from 28 July 2017.

Prior to this appointment, Dilmurod Kasimov worked as the first deputy prosecutor of Samarkand region.

Uzbek President established the Institute of the Commissioner for Protection of Rights and Legal Interests of Business Entities in May 2017. The institution will protect the rights and interests of business entities, as well as prevent unjustified interference of state bodies in their activities.
