Fuel prices increase in Uzbekistan

Fuel prices in Uzbekistan have increased by 20 soums from 1 January 2009.
The retail price of 80 octane petrol rose from 1,020 to 1,040 soums per litre. The prices of 91, 92 and 93 octane petrol increased from 1,130 to 1,150 soums, with 95 octane petrol now costing 1,275 soums (before 1,055 soums).
The petrol prices were last time increased in September 2008.
