Ferghana Region to Attract Foreign Investments
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Tashkent International Investment Forum (TMIF-2026) has opened new industrial and technological prospects for the Ferghana region.
The platform allowed the regional leadership to lay the foundation for launching a number of major investment projects, expand the geography of foreign partners, and demonstrate the growing economic potential of the valley to international business circles.
Within the framework of the forum, Khokim of Ferghana region Khayrullo Bozorov held an official meeting with Ozan M. Ozkural, founder and managing partner of the British investment company Tanto Capital Partners.
The foreign investor expressed high interest in bringing capital to the Uzbek market and implementing joint projects with the involvement of American businessmen and large international consortiums. The head of the region familiarized the partners in detail with the preferences created in the region, the capacity of the domestic market, and the guaranteed infrastructure support from the administration.
The development of the social sphere became a separate important vector of negotiations. Khayrullo Bozorov met with Mohammed Nisam, founder of the company Welmonde Healthcare Group from the UAE.
The focus of the parties' attention was on the deep digitalization of medical services in the Ferghana region, the transfer of modern healthcare technologies, and the launch of innovative medical hubs. The khokimiyat fully supported the initiatives of the Emirati side and expressed readiness for their prompt implementation.
In addition, the regional leadership held substantive talks with representatives of the international consulting company FinAlyzer.
The sides discussed in detail the algorithms of strategic cooperation in the sphere of attracting foreign direct investment and the joint promotion of promising regional startup and business cases on global financial platforms.
Following the series of meetings, preliminary agreements aimed at a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership were signed.
