Ferghana Opens Trade House in Afghan City Mazar-i-Sharif

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Ferghana Trade House has opened in the Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif, showcasing products from more than 240 enterprises from Ferghana Region.

The venue aims to expand exports of Uzbek products to the Afghan market and strengthen direct business ties between entrepreneurs in both regions.

Khokim of Ferghana Region Khayrullo Bozorov, official representatives from both regions, and business leaders attended the opening ceremony.

Speaking at the event, Bozorov noted that trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan continue to develop, calling the opening of the trade house a practical step toward expanding cooperation between the business communities of both countries. He also expressed gratitude to Kamal Nabizada Ltd for assisting in organizing the venue.

The trade house will promote products from Ferghana enterprises in the Afghan market, boost exports, and foster direct cooperative ties.

Representatives from Ferghana Region will work at the facility on a permanent basis, taking orders from Afghan partners and facilitating export contracts.

Ceremony participants toured the trade house and inspected the displayed products.

As part of the visit, Ferghana Region also delivered humanitarian aid, including modern medical equipment, to the Abu Ali ibn Sino Balkhiy Hospital in Mazar-i-Sharif.
