Earthquake in Afghanistan shakes Uzbekistan

An earthquake with epicenter in Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan was registered in Tashkent at 12:08 on Wednesday, 31 January 2018.
According to the data of the European-Mediterranean Seismology Center, the magnitude at the epicenter was 6.1.
The epicenter was located about 517 km away from Tashkent in southern-eastern direction in Hindu Kush mountains (Afghanistan).
Power of underground tremors in Tashkent was 3-4 points, Tashkent seismic station said.
