Drivers pay fines for 516 million soums within two days

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- During the past weekend, Tashkent city road police and Compulsory Enforcement Bureau at the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan revealed 1,590 drivers, who did not pay the penalty for traffic violations during the 60-day time limit.

According to Tashkent city police, within two days, about 516.15 million soums of fines were collected.

In total, over the two days off, the state’s treasury received 721.65 million soums paid by 2,528 drivers, who violated the Rules of the Road.
