Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan meets with the Ambassador of Pakistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 10 April 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan Akhmed Farooq.

The prospects for further development of the Uzbek-Pakistani strategic partnership were considered in order to effectively implement the agreements reached within the framework of high level events.

Particular attention was paid to the prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of ensuring interregional interconnectedness between Central and South Asia. An agreement was reached to continue coordinating the efforts of Uzbekistan and Pakistan in the international arena, in particular, within the framework of the UN, SCO, OIC, and ECO.
