Culture of Central Asia presented in South Korea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Festival of Cultural Exchange of Korea and Central Asia “Silk Odour” started in South Korea on 15 May. The festival is organized at the participation of the Fund Forum of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan is represented by Ofarin dance group, Surkhon musical band and singer Sardor Rakhimhon, the press release of the Fund Forum of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan said.

The festival, which will take place till 20 May 2009, will also demonstrate such Uzbek films as Vatan (Motherland), Sukunat (Silence) and Bukri Oshiq (Humpback in love).

National Museum of Korea will host photo exhibition, which will display modern life of the Central Asian states. The exhibition will feature over 150 images.
