Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan with a mission of the Asian Development Bank led by senior financial sector expert Andrew McCartney.

The sides discussed issues of establishing facts on the program for the development of an inclusive financial sector, as well as consultations on the assessment of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy 2021-2023.

During the conversation, ADB representatives paid attention to developing an action plan for the successful implementation of the program, including the selection of partner banks, financing of microfinance organizations, and technical support for a business development company.

During the mission, as part of the development of a new National Financial Inclusion Strategy, meetings and round tables are planned with the participation of government organizations, banks, financial institutions and other interested parties.
