Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A training seminar on improving productivity and the efficient use of resources was held for representatives of industrial enterprises in the Bukhara region. The event took place at the Bukhara State Technical University with the support of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The seminar was attended by Atanas Kochov, an expert from the international consulting company Integracion, specialists from the Institute for Macroeconomic and Regional Studies (IMRI), representatives of industrial enterprises, the Bukhara Region Khokimiyat, district and city khokimiyats, the Main Department of Economy and Finance, higher educational institutions, and the mass media.

Participants were presented with practical approaches to the effective utilization of unused resources at enterprises, as well as the implementation of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) principles.

In addition, the seminar covered Lean Management and Six Sigma methodologies, alongside the ISO certification system.

Following the event, an agreement was reached to implement best practices in the operations of local enterprises in real time.
