Ardus becomes Uzbekistan champion

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Futsal team Ardus Tashkent became six-time champion Uzbekistan and claimed the third title in a row.

Tashkent futsal club played only one draw in 19 matches and won all their games. The team collected 55 points to become champion of Uzbekistan.

However, there is one more round, which will determine the winners of the second and third places. The final round will be held in March 2012.

Ardus won its first Uzbekistan Champions title in 2005 and it claimed two more titles later. In 2008, the club changed squad with youngsters and won only third place. But in 2009, the club won silver medals and in 2010 Ardus became Uzbekistan Champions again. This season, it defended its title again.
