Amendments to the Code of Administrative Liability

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 20 December, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved a law “On amendments and additions, as well as abolishment of certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

It was said that in connection with formation of the judicial collegium for administrative cases of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, administrative courts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, district (city) administrative courts, the law introduces corresponding changes and additions to the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the senators, the adoption of the law will contribute to further improving the procedure for considering administrative and criminal cases in the courts. The law is approved by senators.
