Alp Jamol Bank assets grows 15% in 1H

Private open joint-stock commercial bank Alp Jamol (Alp Jamol Bank) said its assets grew 15% in January-June 2009 and it made up 112.3 billion soums as of 1 July 2009. The bank said 57.5% of assets are income-bearing.
Liquid assets comprised 56.8%, which exceeded the set mandatory norm of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan by 26.8%. About 49.7% of total assets were loan portfolio.
The loan portfolio grew 43.9 billion soums to 55.7 billion soums. The growth rate made up 1.3 times. The bank said it directed 78% of its loans to private entrepreneurs.
The deposits of Alp Jamol Bank rose by 35% to 24 billion soums, the bank said.
Net income of the bank made up 2.943 billion soums and exceeded the planned level by 157.9 million soums.
