Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Astana International Exchange (AIX) has admitted US$10 million in sukuk issued by Alif Moliya Sukuk SPC Limited to its official list.

The transaction supports AIX’s strategic goal of developing Islamic finance in the region and expanding access to capital markets for issuers from Central Asian countries through the exchange platform.

“The listing of Alif Moliya’s sukuk on AIX is an important step in the development of regional capital markets and Islamic finance.

“This transaction demonstrates the potential for cross-border cooperation and gives issuers an additional opportunity to raise capital through our platform. We intend to continue facilitating transactions that broaden financing opportunities and contribute to the development of capital markets across the region,” said AIX Chairperson Asel Mukazhanova.

The listing is in line with AIX’s roadmap for developing the Islamic capital market, presented at the third meeting of the Islamic Finance Advisory Board (IFAB) during Astana Finance Days 2026.

The roadmap provides for expanding the pool of potential sukuk issuances, attracting issuers and investors, exploring cross-listing opportunities and further developing market infrastructure.
