Accident and Auto Insurance Lead the Market in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — In Uzbekistan, the most popular insurance services are accident insurance, motor vehicle and other transport insurance, as well as cargo and property insurance.

According to the State Committee of Statistics, from January to October 2025, these types of insurance accounted for 81.5% of the total insurance services provided, which reached 10 trillion soums.

By comparison, reinsurance services accounted for 14.2%, while life insurance represented only 4.3% of the total.

Overall, the insurance market grew by 2.6 trillion soums during this period compared to the same period in 2024.
