Abduraimova reaches Tashkent Open semifinals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan number one Nigina Abduraimova advanced to the semifinals of tennis tournament Tashkent Open.

In the quarterfinal, she defeated Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan in straight sets with the score 6/3 and 6/3. Abduraimova will face Bojana Jovanovski, who defeated Urszula Radwanska with the score 4/6, 6/4 and 6/3.

Italy’s Karin Knapp beat Olga Govortsova of Belarus in straight sets with the score 7/5 and 6/2, while Lesia Tsurenko of Ukraine defeated Ksenia Pervak of Russia in three sets with the score 4/6, 6/4 and 7/5.
