Abdulaziz Kamilov receives Ambassador of Bangladesh

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 15 September 2017, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bangladesh Masud Mannan.

The parties discussed practical issues stemming from 12 September statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the facts of violence against the Muslim minority in Myanmar and the decisions of the Uzbek Government to send humanitarian aid to Bangladesh to meet the needs of refugees.

The sides also considered the state and prospects of bilateral relations, including the program and agenda of forthcoming visit of the governmental delegation of Uzbekistan to Bangladesh, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
