Abdukaadir Khusanov may continue his career in England

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —  Uzbekistan national team defender and French club Lens player Abdukaidir Khusanov has caught the attention of several English clubs.

According to reports from British media, teams such as Arsenal, Everton, and Newcastle United are vying for the Uzbek defender during the upcoming January transfer window.

It is expected that Lens will set a transfer fee for the player in the range of €25-30 million.

Recall that in 2023, the French club acquired Khusanov for a nominal fee of €100,000, and he has since established himself firmly in the starting lineup.

In the current Ligue 1 season, Khusanov is showcasing impressive passing accuracy (89%) and successfully making 2.1 interceptions, 1 tackle, 4 ball recoveries, and 4.3 clearances per match, according to Sofascore data.
