A driver of an unregistered car in Namangan received more than 150 fines for speeding in three months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The police department of Namangan region reported an unusual case involving a car not registered with the Road Safety Service. For three months of this year, Hyundai Sonata with the number 01T234ZA received more than 150 speeding tickets.

The car belonged to a resident of the Chust district of Namangan region was stopped by a traffic police officer late in the evening on 31 March in Namangan. The driver could not show the documents for the car, and it was placed in a car impound.

As a result of the check, it turned out that the car does not have a registration certificate, and its number is not registered with the Road Traffic Safety Service. The owner of the car did not have the right to drive a vehicle without registering a number in the traffic police.

However, despite the fact that the car has 152 speed violations, totaling 410 million soums, it was not possible to make a decision on imposing fines, since the number was not registered in the database of the Road Traffic Safety Service.
