A consular section at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Astana starts its work

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A consular section starts functioning at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Astana (Kazakhstan). It was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The consular district of the section from 1 January 2019 includes the city of Astana, Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Kostanay and Karaganda regions.

Prior to the opening of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Aktau from 1 January 2019, the consular district of the General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Almaty includes the cities of Almaty and Shymkent, Almaty, East Kazakhstan, Turkestan, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda regions, and Mangistau, West Kazakhstan, Atyrau and Aktobe regions.
