421 UAE-Funded Companies Operate in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of March 1, 2026, a total of 421 enterprises with capital from the United Arab Emirates operate in Uzbekistan, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Out of the total, 143 companies are registered as joint ventures, while 278 are fully classified as foreign enterprises.

The largest concentration of such companies is in the industrial sector, where 132 enterprises are active.

A significant number of companies also operate in trade, with 106 firms in this sector. In information and communications, there are 44 companies, while 23 operate in transportation and warehousing.

In addition, 19 enterprises are active in construction, and 15 in accommodation and food services. The healthcare and social services sector includes 6 companies, while agriculture, forestry, and fisheries account for 4 enterprises.

The data reflects the sectoral distribution of UAE-capital companies within Uzbekistan’s economy.
