Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekneftegaz has increased its motor gasoline stocks at oil depots 2.5-fold compared with the same period last year.
The company also says its own network of filling stations has sufficient fuel supplies for the upcoming winter season.
The announcement was made by Abrorjon Khudoyberganov, Uzbekneftegaz Deputy Chairman for Processing, at a press conference on 27 October.
According to Khudoyberganov, the company has significantly expanded its filling station network since the beginning of 2026. While it operated 31 stations at the start of the year, the number has now reached 152. Sales of petroleum products have increased five- to six-fold over the same period.
The company’s filling stations sell AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline, as well as several types of diesel fuel, including products meeting Euro-4 and Euro-6 standards.
Khudoyberganov said gasoline and diesel would be available at all Uzbekneftegaz filling stations across the regions. He added that gasoline prices at the company’s stations had not exceeded 12,000 soums per litre over the past nine to ten months.
Company representatives clarified that the statement applies exclusively to Uzbekneftegaz’s own filling station network and does not cover the country’s entire fuel market.
They noted that other major suppliers and private businesses also operate in the market. Therefore, assurances regarding uninterrupted supplies and the absence of queues apply only to stations within the company’s network.
The network is being expanded partly through the restoration and modernisation of previously operating stations in the regions, including remote areas.
The work includes reconstruction, replacement of old fuel dispensers and installation of equipment designed to improve the accuracy of fuel accounting.
According to the company, around 90 new fuel dispensers have been installed at its filling stations. In Tashkent and Tashkent Region, 10 stations have been modernised with new measurement and remote monitoring systems.
The operation of filling stations is monitored through Uzbekneftegaz’s situation centre. Specialists use the system to track fuel stocks, sales volumes and prices at individual stations. Company employees also check the accuracy of fuel dispensing at both oil depots and filling stations.
In January–September 2026, Uzbekneftegaz produced 773,500 tonnes of motor gasoline, achieving 100.2% of its production target.
